I’ve been subscribing to BDJ Box since May 2013 and it is by far the best subscription box in the Philippines to date. I just love getting a monthly surprise in the mail and boy, do they delight their subscribers! Every month, their box is filled with well-thought out goodies from known and up-and-coming brands alike.
For their Jan-Feb 2015 box, they themed it “Kawaii Must-Haves”. The package came in their megabox (compared to the normal size they usually give out) and honestly, I am uber-thrilled whenever they send a megabox.:D
Let’s jump in.
BDJ Box started the year with a bang! The box came loaded with 8 full-size products from different Asian brands to help us Filipina girls achieve that Kawaii look.
Let’s start off with my favorite item from the box: Bifesta Cleansing Lotion in “Bright Up”

As described in the product insert: It is a water-based makeup remover that contains saxifrage extract which fights away dead skin cells for an even-toned complexion. The product is suitable for dull and flaky skin.
Up next are two leave-on hair treatments from Lucido-L. I have chemically straightened hair so I was overjoyed when I received these two items which are ideal for straight hair. The Styling Milk-Straight variant is ideal for day-time use while the Treatment Oil-Straight variant can be used as an overnight hair supplement. I’ve been using it for a week and it definitely makes my hair smoother and softer even after washing it off in the morning.

In preparation for summer, BDJ Box included a product from Sunkiller: Perfect Strong A. It’s an ultra light sunblock with SPF 50 that is highly resistant to sweat and water. This variant also contains menthol which gives that cooling sensation to the skin. It dries to a matte finish so your skin won’t look oily.

The Pixy Two Way Cake Perfect Fit powder formula blends perfectly for a smooth and long-lasting base. Use it wet for more coverage or dry for a natural look. It contains whitening squalane oil to prevent dry skin and SPF15 to prevent sun damage.

The Pixy Coverlast Powder Foundation has Microsphere Powder that covers blemishes for a smooth, even, and natural makeup look. It also controls oil and shine to keep you looking fresh throughout the day.
To complete the makeup look, BDJ Box also included a Pixy Blush On and a Pixy Eye Shadow.

This month’s box was definitely a steal. I hope this is a sign of more amazing boxes to come this 2015.
